Configura el inicio de windows con Startup Control Panel
Hola,
muchos de vosotros notareis como con el tiempo los Sistemas Operativos de Microsoft se van ralentizando y tardan más en cargar. Entre otras razones, influye mucho el software que se inicia con el arranque de windows. La solución pasa por borrar todo aquello que no necesitemos al inicio.
Para hacerlo podemos ir al registro y editarlo directamente aunque recomiendo solo hacerlo si se sabe lo que se hace, de lo contrarío es posible probocar más daño del que se pretende solucionar. La edición del registro no es algo traumatico, pero si se debe tener mucho cuidado al hacerlo.
Pues bien, para evitar los problemas de hacerlo manualmente, os presente una pequeña utilidad que para mí es indispensable llevarla siempre conmigo en un pendrive con otras aplicaciones, el Startup Contro Panel.
Con el esta utilidad podemos deshabilitar todo aquello que no necesitemos al inicio ahorrando así memoría y ralentizaciones del sistema.
El programa tiene varias pestañas de configuración:
- Startup (user): configuración de la entrada Inicio del menu Inicio del usuario autenticado.
- Startup (common):configuración de la entrada Inicio del menu Inicio para todos los usuarios del sistema.
- HKLM / Run: configuración de la clave de registro Run de HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Se aplica a todos los usuarios del sistema.
- HKCU / Run: configuración de la clave de registro Run de HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Se aplica al usuario autenticado.
- Run Once: se configuran el software que solo se iniciará en el siguiente inicio.
- Deleted: las entradas eliminadas aparecen aquí por lo que es posible recuperarlas. Si se borran en esta pestaña se eliminan definitivamente.
Lo podeis descargar en dos formatos, un .cpl que se integra con el panel de control de windows y un .exe para ejecutar directamente.

Manually Uninstalling Startup Control Panel
Startup Control Panel is supposed to appear in Add/Remove Programs so that you can uninstall it easily. Unfortunately, at some point several years ago, something changed in Windows such that this entry is not created properly on new installations. Sorry about this. Here are detailed instructions for uninstalling the program manually. Step 1. Close Startup Control Panel
If Startup Control Panel itself is open, close it by pressing the X in the upper-right corner of the window. Step 2. Close Control Panel
If the Control Panel window, where you access the icons for all the different control panels (Display, Fonts, Sound, etc.), is open, close it by pressing the X in the upper-right corner of the window. Step 3. Delete program file
Delete the following files, if they exist. Only one of them should exist.
– C:WindowsSystem32Startup.cpl – C:WindowsSystemStartup.cpl
*Detailed instructions for step 3:*
Navigate in Windows Explorer to the directory C:WindowsSystem32 . Click away any warning messages until you see a long list of hundreds of files. Find the file named either «Startup» or «Startup.cpl». Delete the file by right-clicking on it and selecting «Delete» from the menu that pops up. Confirm the deletion and then verify that SCP has been removed. *Do not* delete any other files or directories: doing so can damage your operating system.
If you can’t find the file in that folder, also look in C:WindowsSystem . If you get an error message saying that the file is in use, verify that SCP and Control Panel are closed; if so, try restarting your computer and deleting the file as soon as the computer starts up again. Step 4. Delete registry entries (optional)
*I do not recommend performing this step.* It is only for advanced users who want to expunge every last trace of Startup Control Panel from their system. If you do not perform this step, a little bit of information stored by SCP will remain in your system registry. This information *will not* affect or slow down your system in any way if it is allowed to remain. Removing this information requires using the Registry Editor, which, if improperly used, can seriously damage your software and operating system. Proceed at your own risk!
Start the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and delete the following keys and all their subkeys, if they exist:
– HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwaremlinStartupCPL – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwaremlinStartupCPL
msconfig te permite activar y desactivar mientras que startup permite activarlos, desactivarlos, borrarlos y recuperarlos, añadir nuevos y cambiarlos de clave. Msconfig hace varias cosas pero startup es un especialista en la configuración de los programas que se cargan al inicio.
Pregunta de ignorante total: ¿Qué hace que no se pueda hacer con msconfig?
